Here's a secret: I fell in love with Jersey City. HARD. Like, teen crush level. And I never really fell out of love ... the adoration has only gotten stronger. I live here. I opened a business here. I shop here. I exist in a Jersey City bubble, but I'm not afraid to admit that. If anything, being a part of the Jersey City community has made me happier than I've ever been.
So, that said, I'm extremely thrilled to have had the opportunity to write an update to my original post on Design*Sponge about all my fave places in the Historic Downtown area. I wrote the first draft when I opened the shop and -- now almost five years later -- I'm excited about how much has changed and also by how much has stayed the same.
